This report documents work related to quantify uncertainty in, respectively demand for transport and transport time, for different modes of transport, as well as for distribution and respectively domestic and foreign long-haulage. The work has shown that it is difficult to get consistent analysis between the means of transport, as various modes of transport are organized in different manners, and thereby contributes to the different levels of information available. For example, rail have specific timetables, shipping services have arrival days, while road transport not have any specific departure time, but customize their level of services to customer needs for transport
