The National Model System of Private Travel is now updated as version 4. The model system consists of disaggregate models of tour frequency, mode and destination choice for long and short distance travel. The model system also includes aggregate and disaggregate licence holdings as well as models of joint car ownership and usage. This report documents the establishment of updated inputdata and data for calibration, the estimation of a new model of long distance travel and examples of aggregated demand elasticities.
