Exploiting an unusually detailed and comprehensive, disaggregate discrete choice model of passenger car purchases, including virtually all 2.1 million new automobile transactions in Norway during January 2003 through May 2019, we derive updated direct and cross demand elasticities for gasoline, diesel, ordinary hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric passenger cars. In addition, we derive various policy and technology response functions.
