Public Transport - Contribution to a policy initiative in urban regions in Southern Norway

Central and local government in the Southern region of Norway is working on an urban and transport strategy to turn around the trend of shrinking market share for public transport. Based on general knowledge of good practice in public transport policy, the report presents new opportunities and solutions for the development of the public transport system. As a starting point for further planning, basic principles for future public transport network design are described.
