Parking revenues lust due to mandatory free public parking of electric vehicles

Electric vehicles are entitled to free public parking in Norway. This report makes an estimate of how much parking revenues are foregone in Norwegian municipalities as a result of this. A rough estimate based on different approaches concludes that lost parking revenues amount to NOK 100-120 million annually. The figure must be adjusted in accordance with the rapid e-vehicle growth.
