Climate change adaptation measures in the Czech towns

Institute of Transport Economics is a partner in the project Awareness raising on climate change adaptation measures in the Czech towns using the Norwegian experiences.

The project focuses on the level of Czech regional district towns. The aim is to raise awareness about adaptation measures in Czeck towns and cities using concrete Norwegian experiences. In two towns – Hradek nad Nisou and Nový Bor these measures will be reflected in a city planning. In these towns there will be also organised campaigns for the public about climate change and its local impacts. At the end of the project, a conference will be organised.
