What do Norwegian cities need to plan for urban logistics? Experiences from Bodø, Drammen, Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Trondheim og Tromsø

This report discusses stakeholder participation and having sufficient local data and information as two key factors when planning for urban freight. These two are key in stating up the planning process. However, the final urban freight plan can contain a selection of preferred solutions to urban freight challenges (some of which are introduced in this report) identified through stakeholder meetings. The experiences discussed in this report are observed and collected at urban freight workshops in seven Norwegian cities and a seminar on local authorities’ data needs when planning for urban freight in the time period 2017-2018.
