This report assesses various organizations schemes for the future organization of public transport in Viken county and Oslo municipality. We recommend limited companies as form of affiliation for the body responsible for the purchase of public transport. It also seems most appropriate to gather the geographical area Viken / Oslo into one area of responsibility. Furthermore, we find that a split of functions, i.e. an establishment of two companies in the area of responsibility, will provide significant benefits.
