Sammendrag

This report presents the results of a survey carried out in Norway in 2016 to assess attitudes, knowledge, and behaviour relating to different road safety themes. Comparison with previous surveys in this series indicates certain trends in population behaviour and attitudes. For several behaviours, larger shares of the population report behaving “safely” in traffic, but support for the implementation of a range of road safety measures has not increased since 2011. Previous surveys in this series have been based on phone interviews. The current study is based on a web survey distributed to a representative sample of the population. This has resulted in a larger number of respondents, while also allowing for comparisons with the results from previous years.
