A hierarchy of objectives for urban planning of land use and transport with respect to sustainability has been developed. Indicators for sub-objectives has been developed at three levels. A sustainable urban land use and transport system has been defined.
The note is the report on task 11 in the PROSPECTS project, funded by the European Commision and carried out by a consortium led by ITS, Leeds.
