This working report reviews and summarises Swedish and international research within the field of urban transport quality. Special attention is given to identifying concepts and methods that describes people's satisfaction with and use of different transportation services in an urban region. The report is step one towards developing a survey instrument of perceived quality of transportation services in cities, in order to develop urban transportation systems that are more environmental friendly and also represent equal opportunities in regard to gender, age and mode of transport.
