This study explore what types of mobile technologies travelers takes along on their trips, how they are used, and their general preferred use of time while traveling. Findings indicate that a majority have a smartphones, PCs or tablets while travelling. Internet based services, in particular news and social media applications, are now widely used. Travellers are clustered in four segments based on access to technology, travel behaviour and time use preferences.
