The purpose of this project has been to test different methods for travel surveys. A comparison between traditional telephone Cati method and Cawi (web-based) method has been done. The respondents are in the age group 20-34 years, living in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. The results show that the geolocation is better with the Cati-method than with the Cawi. The web-based sample reported less trips than the Cati sample. There was also a tendency that the Cawi sample had more “incorrect” answers than the Cati sample.
