The Institute of Transport Economics has conducted transport model calculations and cost-benefit calculations of large improvements in the national road network in Norway. This includes a Motorway Plan and a “Rutevis” highway report (RRU). The calculations are performed using The National passenger model (NTM6), the Regional passenger model (RTM) and the National freight transport model.
Net benefit calculations for the Motorway Plan and the RRU as well as for single routes of the two plans are presented. In addition, wider economic impacts are calculated for the Motorway plan and two of the routes of the RRU.
