The report analyses how the opening of Follobanen has impacted the use of park and ride (P&R) facilities along Østfoldbanen. We have registered users before and after the opening of Follobanen. The results show that the improvement in train services has contributed to an increase in the use of P&R. Stations that do not experience an improvement in train services also have less user growth compared to others. We also observe a certain effect of the fare zone structure on public transportation tickets. Stations located at the outer edge of a price zone appear to experience slightly higher user growth.
