The report provides a summary and assessment of experiences with electric city bikes in the Buskerud region in 2022. In 2022, there were two different models of electric city bikes in operation: a free-floating model operated by Bolt in Drammen, and a station-based model operated by Brakar in Kongsberg and Lier. The analyses show that all offerings were popular among users, while the station-based offerings experienced low usage. Much of the traffic was concentrated around railway stations. The usage patterns, such as trip length and time of day, are similar to those of electric scooters, but electric bike trips tend to be slightly longer and the typical user is slightly older.
