Environmental Studies of Ekeberg/Gamle Oslo - Traffic Counts and Description of Road Network 1994

The study area, Ekeberg/Gamle Oslo, is an urban area centrally located in Oslo. The construction of new main roads in tunnels is expected to relieve the area of some of the negative environmental impacts caused by large volumes of through traffic. Several before and after studies will serve to describe the changes. This document describes the methods used, and results from traffic counts in the area. It also contains files giving physical descriptions of the street network. These files provides data for later calculations of noise and air pollution caused by traffic, and descriptions of how the residents of the area experience the changes.
