In this project the aim has been to conduct an economic impact analysis for The Norwegian sporting high school (NTG Geilo) in Hol municipality. NTG Geilo has approximately 100 students, and offers four different winter sports at their high school; cross country skiing, biathlon, snowboard and alpine skiing. Around 25 % of the students are from Hol, and the rest of the students comes other parts of Norway. Our calculations show that within a your NTG Geilo generates at total demand for approximately 27,5 mill. NOK in direct effects, and with a multiplicator effects this creates an indirect effect for approximately 4,4 mill. NOK in indirect effects.
