Buskerudbyen has a relatively low cycling share, and a high proportion of car users. The typical cyclist in Buskerudbyen is quite young and cycles mostly for transportation purposes. Most cyclists in Buskerudbyen are quite satisfied with the bicycle conditions. At the same time, some respondents have stated that they feel insecure in some central and heavily trafficked areas. Most cycling trips happen in the center of Drammen and Kongsberg than in the other center areas of Buskerudbyen.
