The number of cruise tourists arriving in Norway has increased from 100 000 to nearly 800 000 the last 25 years, while number of ship calls in Norwegian ports increased from 1 030 to 2 150. The forecasts in this report (2018– 2060) imply an anticipated fall in growth rates. Three scenarios are presented, with annual growth rates 1.5 and 2.5 percent, respectively, in number of cruise tourists. An annual growth rate of 2.5 percent 2018-2028 and 1.5 percent 2028-2060 implies 1.6 million cruise tourists in Norway in 2060 and 2600 ship calls. Forecasts are also given on regional levels, predicting that most of the growth in cruise ship calls in Norway will appear in Western Norway ports.
