This report presents results from various computations of freight transport costs with an advanced cost model for the road mode. The results are based on data from the Norwegian National Road Database and on transport modelling using the transport network of the Norwegian Logistic Model. The cost model is worked out by SITMA AS by Stein Erik Grønland. This advanced cost model includes air drag and topological rise and fall as well as ordinary generalized costs related to time, distance and direct costs.
