Røsvikrenna is part of the entrance to the port of Fredrikstad. Improvements of this fairway, amounting to a total cost of NOK 32.5 million, has been proposed. This will increase the maximum size of ships that can access the port, reduce the use of tugboats, and increase the economically useful land area in the port. The environment will not be damaged. The improvements are socially profitable
