Sammendrag

The project looked at possible data collection methods and their suitability for evaluating infrastructure improvements for cyclists. Then we examined the impact of 27 projects on bicycle use, using app data. Procedure for data preparation and analysis were developed and sensitivity tested. In total, the measures that have been analyzed led to an increase in cycling of 31 per cent measured as the number of meters cycled, and of 19 per cent measured as the number of passing cyclists. the largest increase on a single stretch on Møllegata in Stavanger, with a tripling of the number of meters cycled. This report shows that the scale of the project matters, but that many of the "small measures" can also lead to increased cycling.
