A statistical registration and documentation system for Norwegians’ holiday travel is discussed in this working report. A system based on yearly registration of holiday travel is recommended. Data on regional distribution of holiday travel within Norway should be published every second year. A more comprehensive holiday survey is recommended to be conducted every third year.
