CA cost benefit analysis is presented for the new infrastructure in the Southern Helgeland region of Norway. The new infrastructure consists of a tunnel below sea level (7 km) under the Velfjord in Helgeland in Northern Norway and a bridge from Hamnøya to the mainland at Vevelstad. Roads connecting the tunnel to the existing roads and a ferry berth at Hamnøya are also included in the new infrastructure alternative. The project as it is described is calculated to be profitable with a slim margin.
