The Norwegian zero growth objective means that the growth in passenger transport in the largest urban areas should be absorbed by public transport, walking and cycling. The Norwegian regional transport model can be used to analyze measures to obtain this target. However, the model also include service related driving from tradesmen and craftsmen not restricted by the zero growth objective. The share of such service related driving produced in the transport model is not explicitly given in the results from the model. The purpose of this project is to predict these shares for the four largest urban areas in Norway, i.e. the regions including the cities of Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. Based on different statistical data sources, these shares have been predicted to lie between 5 % and 7 % for the largest urban areas. The highest share is predicted for Oslo, while the lowest share is predicted for Trondheim. These shares seem to have been relatively stable the last 15 years.
