As a supplementary study to the value of time study (report 1053B) we have estimated alternative unit values for time, reliability and comfort when the division between long and short trips is set at 50 kilometres. In this report we present these unit values and explain how they are estimated. The new segmentation by trip length causes the values of time for long trips to be substantially lower than in the original results. This is because trips of length 50-100 kilometres have lower values of time than the longer journeys
