Trials for alternative institutional organisations in urban areas. Data basis for benchmarking of urban transport systems

The report describes the state of the art of the data collection for the benchmarking of trials for alternative institutional organisations of transport provision in urban areas.Data is presented for the conurbations Kristiansand and Stavanger together with the municipalities of Sarpsborg/Fredrikstad, Kristiansand, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø. The information bank includes data made available by the local transport authorities, as well as data collected by TØI. Although certain information is still lacking, a large and valuable database is set up and should be maintained and updated.
