The urban growth agreements are fundamental instruments for achieving the zero-growth objective for passenger car transport in the largest city areas. Among indicators used for measuring goal achievements, are vehicle kilometers estimated from travel survey data. This report presents such estimates based on survey data from six urban areas over the years from 2018/19 to 2023/24. Measures of zero-growth, and in some cases traffic reductions, are mainly related to the largest city municipalities, accompanied by traffic growth in surrounding municipalities.
