Sammendrag

The population in Nord-Jæren are moderately satisfied with their public transport services compared to the population in other European regions. In 2003 they experienced increased quality in most aspects of the service. Public transport is considered to be of high quality with the exception of poor information. Frequent users of public transport have a more positive attitude towards public transport compared to less frequent users. There are more frequent users among people less than 30 years old and older than 50 years, people than don't have a car, and those who travel between 1 and 10 km to get to work or school. Experiencing that using public transport is easy, along with schedules and routes that fits the needs of the users, has most impact on customer satisfaction. The greatest potential for improvement is nevertheless in the information services.
