Park&ride is one out of many elements that provides a complete system of public transport. Travellers make their choices based on prices, time, etc. Pricing will influence on demand for P&R and how people choose to access a station or a bus stop. A system based on payment for actual use is better than discounts on monthly tickets. P&R which is centrally located can be integrated in the ordinary parking system in order to benefit from joint operation and more efficient use of costly urban space.
