This report presents a tool for evaluating universal design in cultural heritage environments, with the aim of identifying measures that can make these places more accessible for all. The purpose is to highlight opportunities for improvement and to support further work on universal design. The tool is based on criteria organized into seven categories, encompassing both physical and non-physical aspects. These include essential, informa-tion, physical design, operation and maintenance, sensory, interaction and organizational measures. The assessment tool builds on a document review, workshops with representatives of user organiza-tions and cultural heritage management, and pilot testing in a cultural heritage environment.
