During spring 2011 Troms county council initiated the campaign "I drive green." The purpose is to have car users walk more or use more bike and public transport. The Institute of Transport Economics was commissioned to evaluate the campaign. The objective was to evaluate whether the campaign had an immediate impact on travel behavior and to study whether the campaign can encourage less car use in the longer term. The report examines travel behavior before, during and after the campaign, as well as attitudes towards the campaign.
