This paper presents calculations and forecasts of energy consumption and emissions in transport. The main issue has been to present as reliable and consistent figures as possible of present consumption and use. It has also been important to adjust the data to fit into the models in use at TØI today.
Emissions are given per vehiclekilometre and per tonne- and personkilometre for air, train, car and ship.
