This report documents the development of Trenklin 1.8 to the newer Trenklin 1.17. It contains information about the model's structure and development beyond version 1.8, use of the model as well as opportunities for simplification, represented by the simplified version Trenklin_dogn. We also discuss some points regarding further development of the model. The report is based on existing documentation report for Trenklin 1.8, TØI report 1283/2013.
