Changing logistics in Norway

This report aims to increase our understanding of how the organisation of value chains develops, and to examine how this impacts on the localisation of production, warehousing and transport. A key point is to shed light on how increased internationalisation affects logistics solutions in Norway. Key elements of this case study of Norwegian companies are: organisation of logistics activities, transport between various activities in the value chains, companies’ experiences with the solutions, and how these have developed. Some analyses have been supplemented by information from public statistics, thus placing the case results in a macroscopic perspective.
