The basic forecasts for domestic travel are based upon the Reference Strategy in the proposal for National Transport Plan 2002-2011 and expected economic development in the National Budget 2000. Predicted effects of Recommended Strategy and effects from fuel taxes for private cars are also presented. The forecasts are based on the national travel demand model and covers all modes of travelling.
