The department contributes with knowledge on the technological development in the transport sector and insight into opportunities, limitations and what is needed for people, businesses and the public sector to adopt new technologies. More specifically, the department works with themes such as vehicle and propulsion technology, environmental impact assessments, sustainability measures, automation and intelligent transport systems, as well as innovation within transport and logistics.
